I went to the resort and was greeted by Joshua and explained my problem. He was very sympathetic and tried to find an available room for me that evening. Unfortunately the resort was completely booked. He could have just left it at that, but proceeded to give me two recommendations for hotels down the street. Joshua told me to advise the staff at the other hotel that I was sent as a referral from Riviera Beach. He reassured me my room would be available at the Resort the following day, apologized for not being able to accommodate me for the evening and to call him if I needed further assistance.
I went to the other hotel, asked them the price of a room. I then mentioned Joshua's referral and they deducted $50.00 from the room rate!
The following morning I returned to the Riviera Resort and was happy to see Joshua at the front desk! He processed my paperwork, put me on an early check-in and gave me a "pass" to use the facilities until my room was ready. This was at 11 a.m. He called me at noon and said my room was ready!
Joshua should be commended for his professional and caring attitude. He truly went above and beyond! My stay at the Resort was wonderful and I hope the next time I visit Joshua will be there to greet me!
