Rental Release Program Terms and Conditions

Please understand that there is no guarantee that you will receive rental commissions, and Diamond Resorts Management, Inc. will retain rental commissions as approved by the Board of Directors. If your unit is still available up to 72 hours prior to arrival, you may contact Diamond Resorts Management, Inc. to have the week removed from the rental pool and schedule it for occupancy. Please keep in mind that you will incur a $35 charge of confirmation fee if you choose this option.

By requesting to release a deeded week, the Owner agrees that Diamond Resorts Management, Inc. has complete authority over the rental of said Owner's deeded week, and accepts the following terms and conditions:

  1. The total rental revenue for each night (up to a total of 7 nights) released by an owner will be entered into a rental pool to ensure a fair and profitable commission distribution for each participant.
  2. A percentage of the total rental revenue, as approved by the Board of Directors, will be distributed amongst each participating owner base on the number of nights and the unit type release, with whole units receiving a priority distribution.
  3. Diamond Resorts Management, Inc. will retain the remainder of the total rental revenue for costs associated with marketing and rental operations.
  4. Requests for rental release must be received by Owner Relations and Services 14 days prior to the check in date of the week being relinquished to be guaranteed placement within the rental-pooling program. Any request received between 13 days up to 72 hours prior to check in will be accepted by Diamond Resorts Management, Inc. on a first-come as needed basis. Any requests received less than 72-hours prior to arrival may not be eligible to participate in the rental program and it is strongly suggested that you contact Owner Relations and Services immediately for other possible usage options.
  5. A late confirmation fee of $35.00 will apply to any request to release an ownership week for rental purposes that is received less than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date of the week. This fee must be paid prior to processing the request.
  6. Any Owner with unpaid account balances will not be eligible for usage of any kind.
  7. Any commission that is less than $25 will be assigned to the Association.
  8. The Owner will be issued a commission check within (90) days from the last day of the released week.
  9. Please be advised that rental commissions may be taxable income. Contact your personal tax advisor with questions.
  10. Please remember that any ownership week that remains unconfirmed 14 days prior to check-in date may be suspended. Once usage rights are suspended, inventory may not be reinstated.

I have read, understand, and agree to the above terms and conditions. Please release my deeded vacation week to Diamond Resorts Management, Inc..

Rental Release Program

To release your ownership week to Diamond Resorts Management, Inc. ("DRM") for rental purposes:

Step 1

Download the Rental Release Form and Form W-9 Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification, using the links provided below.

Step 2

Complete, sign and date the Rental Release Form and Form W-9 Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification, and return both forms to Owner Services:

Step 3

Upon receipt of your Rental Release Form and Form W-9 Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification, an Owner Services Representative will process your request.

Please Note

In order to release your ownership week to Diamond Resorts Management, Inc. for rental purposes, all assessed maintenance fees must be paid in full. If requesting to deposit a week in a future use year which has not yet been assessed/billed, you must pre-pay estimated maintenance fees in the amount of the current use year assessment. Any remaining balance due once the future use year maintenance fee is assessed will be reflected on the billing statement.

A late confirmation fee of $35.00 will apply to any request to release an ownership week for rental purposes that is received less than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date of the week. This fee must be paid prior to processing the request.

Once Interval International® confirms your membership and receipt of the deposit, you will see your deposited week reflected in your Interval International® account within 48 to 72 hours of your request.
