Terrain

The street where the resort is situated is flat however some of the pavements are uneven and are in need of repair. Once you are at the beach, the walkway is flat.

Communal Areas

Reception
Street level, easily accessible and accessed by ramp. The main doors open automatically.

Bar/Restaurant
Ground level access to one restaurant. One is accessible by a steep ramped access which should be negotiated with care.

Entertainment
Ground floor accessed by ramp apart from French Boules and giant chess, which are accessed by stairs only.

Swimming Pool
Pool hoist in the upper pool. Bottom pool has ramped access without steps with handrail.

Parking

Sunset Harbour does not has its own car park though there is a public car park close by. There is one accessible parking bay available in front of the resort. Please note that there is a limited car parking in the vicinity of the resort.

Accessible Outings and Excursions

Teide Half Day
This popular excursion ascends from sea level to 2370m into the El Teide. Visit the Teide National Park. Uphill road through Vila flor. Main stops in Roques de García (reserved car parks and starting point for an accessible path) and Visitor Center El Portillo (information, interpretive and audio-visual exhibitions, access for the disabled and accessible toilets). This space also has interpretive tables and an accessible botanical garden. Downhill road through Chío.

Santa Cruz Candelaria Half Day Private Tour
Visit the capital of the island, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and the village of Candelaria, where the patron saint of the Canary Islands is located.

Teide Puerto de La Cruz Private Tour
Visit the Teide National Park. Uphill road through Vila flor. Stop in Roques de García (reserved car parks) and Visitor Center El Portillo (information, interpretive and audio-visual exhibitions, access for the disabled and accessible toilets). Downhill road through La Orotava to Puerto de la Cruz and free time to visit the city and its San Telmo promenade.

Visit the capital of the island, Santa Cruz. Then, visit the historical city of La Laguna, declared a Heritage site by UNESCO, and finally visit the town of Candelaria, where the patron saint of the Canary Islands is located.

Tenerife Excursions On Adapted Bus
Excursions adapted for people with reduced mobility or disability. Adapted buses with a maximum capacity of up to 15 people, which allow up to 3 manual wheelchairs. These buses have a manually foldable ramp at the rear of the vehicle, which facilitates the access of the chairs to the vehicle. Depending on the number of wheelchairs (manual), the capacity of the bus is the following: * 1 Wheelchair + 13 seats: 14 passengers. / * 2 Wheelchairs + 11 seats: 13 passengers. / * 3 Wheelchairs + 7 seats: 10 passengers.
