Emergency Alert: Wildfires continue to be active in the Columbia Valley and East Kootenay Region and activity on the Horsethief Creek wildfire may be visible from Panorama. As of August 29, 2023, Embarc Panorama is open and accepting arrivals. Please visit the BC Wildfire Service website for updates on the status of these wildfires.

Severe Weather Alert: We are closely monitoring the trajectory of the wildfires on the island of Maui. Since August 9, the Acting Governor of the State of Hawai’i has requested that only essential travel to the island of Maui take place. Visitors who are traveling for non-essential purposes are being asked to leave Maui, and visitors who have travel plans to West Maui in the coming weeks are encouraged to reschedule their plans for a later time. Flights into Maui are also being canceled for non-essential travelers. In addition, resources on the island are limited, including food, gas and water, and travel is impacted due to road closures. As a result, Ka’anapali Beach Club is closed to new arrivals and is not accepting new reservations as of August 10 until further notice.
