As a member of THE Club®, there are an array of Loyalty products and services available to you that will help to enhance your membership. Enjoy complimentary offers, protect your points, enjoy advantageous rates, book stays outside of THE Club® portfolio, and more.

Advance Accommodation Upgrades

Silver, Gold and Platinum members can upgrade their reservation at a managed resort by one unit type (as listed in the Annual Global Reservations Directory) at the time you make your booking, subject to availability.

  • Silver members can upgrade 14 nights per year at £16/€19 per night
  • Gold members can upgrade 35 nights per year at £13/€15 per night
  • Platinum members can upgrade unlimited nights per year at £9/€11 per night

Available only at managed resorts on Club reservations. Presidential Suites at Ka‘anapali Beach Club or The Point at Poipu in Hawaii, the Penthouses at Cabo Azul Resort in Mexico, or any Norwegian Cruise Line® booking are ineligible. Upgrades are not available on discounted reservations. One upgrade level per reservation. The upgrade fee is non-transferable and non-refundable.

Annual Reservation Protection Plan

Protect your points for 365 days on your reservations booked after purchasing the Annual Reservation Protection Plan! You can cancel your reservations for any reason up to 31 days prior to the arrival date and receive 100% reimbursement of your points used for a reservation.

  • Standard members pay £212/€247 annually
  • Silver members pay £267/€317 annually
  • Gold members pay £337/€397 annually
  • Platinum members pay £417/€483 annually

This benefit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Pricing is dependent upon your recognition level. Points used for The Sampler℠, THE Club® Select℠, THE Club Combinations℠, Diamond Dream Holidays, Member Escorted Adventures, Member Guided Travel, Global Club Events, all Luxury Programmes,  Instant Getaways bookings and exchanges are not eligible for the Annual Reservation Protection Plan.

THE Club Combination℠ Deposit Fee

For those participating in THE Club Combinations programme, your deposit fees are as follows:

  • Standard members pay £79/€89 per deposited week
  • Silver members pay £68/€80 per deposited week
  • Gold members pay £57/€67 per deposited week
  • Platinum members pay £34/€40 per deposited week

THE Club® Select ℠ Deposit Fee

For those participating in THE Club® Select℠ programme, your deposit fees are as follows:

  • Standard members pay £78/€89 per deposited week
  • Silver members pay £68/€81 per deposited week
  • Gold members pay £56/€67 per deposited week
  • Platinum members pay £33/€39 per deposited week

Cruise Points Redemption Fee

When redeeming your points for reimbursement of cruises booked through your preferred travel provider outside of the Luxury Programme, there is a non-refundable processing charge:

Standard members pay £82/€98 per transaction
Silver members pay £67/€83 per transaction
Gold members pay £52/€62 per transaction
Platinum members receive complimentary cruise points redemption fees

The cruise points redemption fee is non-refundable.

Cruise Points Reimbursement Eligible % of Cost /Redemption Rate and Booking Window

Cruise points redemption for reimbursement can provide a partial reimbursement for any cruise booked through a travel provider of your choice outside of the Luxury programme.

  • Standard members can enjoy points redemptions 1 January to 31 December at £.04/€.0468 per point for up to 20% of the cost of the cruises booked
  • Silver members can enjoy points redemptions 1 January to 31 December at £.045/€.0526 per point for up to 20% of the cost of the cruises booked
  • Gold members can enjoy points redemptions 1 January to 31 December at £.05/€.0585 point for up to 30% of the cost of the cruises booked*
  • Platinum members can enjoy points redemptions 1 January to 31 December at £.06/€.07 per point for up to 30% of the cost of the cruises booked**

*From 1 January to 31 March of each calendar year, you can redeem points up to a redemption rate of £0.05/€0.0585 per point up to 100% of the cost. From 1 April to 31 December of each calendar year, you can continue to enjoy travel benefits! You will be able to redeem points at £0.05/€0.0585 per point up to a maximum of 30% of the total cost of eligible cruise purchases.
**From 1 January to 30 April of each calendar year, you can redeem points up to a redemption rate of £0.06/€0.07 per point at a 100% redemption rate. From 1 May to 31 December of each calendar year, you will have a maximum redemption rate of a 30% cap at £0.06/€0.07 per point of the total cost of eligible cruise purchases.

A non-refundable cruise points redemption fee applies according to your membership level. If you are requesting reimbursement for a cruise booked in the current year using points from a future year's allotment, a pre-payment towards the future year's maintenance fees may be required. Current year's points are utilised for member benefits until 30 June. Next year's points are utilised beginning 1 July. Bookings must be made within the eligible booking window for your membership level in order to request reimbursement, and reimbursement may be received when travel is complete. The reimbursement amount will be reduced by the applicable cruise points redemption processing fee.

Flexibility

You can conveniently complete Club reservations by purchasing one time use points. Loyalty members receive advantageous rates based on their Loyalty tier status at the time of booking.

Price per point:

  • Standard members pay £.31/€.49 per point
  • Silver members pay £.26/€.41 per point
  • Gold members pay £.25/€.39 per point
  • Platinum members pay £.22/€.34 per point

In the event of reservation cancellation, the standard cancellation policy will apply if RPP is not purchased. If Reservation Protection is purchased, on a reservation that has Flexibility points, the points will be returned to your account. There is no cash refund for Flexibility points.

These benefits are not available for use with THE Sampler℠, Exchange, THE Club Select, Luxury Cruises, Luxury Hotels, Instant Getaways wish to rent or fractional wish to rent reservations or Diamond Dream Holidays bookings.

The Club Value

Silver, Gold and Platinum members may purchase one time use points at an advantageous rate to complete a reservation during the applicable reservation window:

One time use purchase price per point:

  • Silver members pay £.14/€.23 per point on non-discounted reservations when booking within 14 days of arrival
  • Gold members pay £.14/€.23 per point on non-discounted reservations when booking within 28 days of arrival
  • Platinum members pay £.13/€.20 per point on non-discounted reservations when booking within 35 days of arrival

In the event of reservation cancellation, the standard cancellation policy will apply if RPP is not purchased.

If Reservation Protection is purchased on a reservation with The Club Value points, you will be refunded in cash if the cancellation policy allows. No points will be returned to your account. The Club Value cannot be used in combination with discounted reservations. These benefits are not available for use with THE Sampler℠, Exchange, THE Club Select, Luxury Cruises, Luxury Hotels, Instant Getaways wish to rent or fractional wish to rent reservations or Diamond Dream Holidays bookings.

Luxury Cruises

Luxury Cruises offers a select group of cruises priced at an excellent value, and you can use your points to pay for a percentage of the cost at the time of booking. These cruise selections offer a “Best Available Rate” guarantee.

  • Standard and Silver members can use points for up to 20% of the best available rate at £.20 per point
  • Gold and Platinum members can use points for up to 30% of the best available rate at £.30 per point

Luxury Cruises fees are transacted in BPS. Any exchange/transaction fees charged by the financial institution are responsibility of cardholder. Luxury Hotels are available only to Gold and Platinum members.

Luxury Hotels

Luxury Hotels offers an additional way to make staying at a hotel more affordable, in a vast selection of cities worldwide. In addition to great value, all hotels offer a “Best Available Rate” guarantee.

  • Standard and Silver members can use points for up to 20% of the best available rate at £.20 per point
  • Gold and Platinum members can use points for up to 30% of the best available rate at £.30 per point Luxury Hotels fees are transacted in BPS. Any exchange/transaction fees charged by the financial institution are responsibility of cardholder.

Guest Reservations

Give the gift of vacation to family and friends by booking a points reservation through THE Club® and naming a family member or friend as the guest checking in. After taking advantage of your complimentary offer(s), any additional guest reservation is £15/€21 per reservation.

  • Standard members receive (1) complimentary guest certificate per year
  • Silver members receive (3) complimentary guests certificates per year
  • Gold and Platinum members receive (5) complimentary certificates per year

Member Benefit Processing Fee

When redeeming points for some of your member benefits, there is a non-refundable processing charge.

  • Standard members pay only £42/€48 per transaction
  • Silver members pay only £37/€44 per transaction
  • Gold members pay only £31/€37 per transaction
  • Platinum members receive complimentary member benefit processing fees

The member benefit processing fee is non-refundable.

Travel Services Instant Redemption Eligible % of Cost/Redemption Rate and Booking Window

Members who choose to redeem their points for instant redemption for flights, and other travel services, have the option to book travel and receive immediate point redemption during their designated redemption period starting January 1 of the current year.

  • Standard Members: receive 4.0 pence / 4.68 cents per point up to 20% of the cost of the booking 
  • Silver Members: receive 4.5 pence / 5.26 cents per point up to 20% of the cost of the booking
  • Gold Members: receive 5.0 pence / 5.85 cents per point
  • Up to 100% of the cost of the booking between January 1 – March 31
  • Up to 30% of the cost of the booking between April 1 – December 31
  • Platinum Members: receive 6.0 pence / 7.0 cents per point
  • Up to 100% of the cost of the booking from January 1 – April 30
  • Up to 30% of the cost of the booking from May 1 – December 31

Members have access to exclusive journeys! Have you always wanted to expand your travel horizons but were unsure where to start? With Hosted Trips, you can discover new countries, new people and new cultures.

Preference

When booking your stay at managed resorts, Gold and Platinum members have the ability to choose a preferred unit, subject to availability.

You can choose your preferred unit during the booking process when online or by phone. Gold Members can take advantage of this benefit on one reservation per year and Platinum members can take advantage of this benefit on three reservations per year.

Limited to managed resorts. Preference is subject to unit availability and may not be used for DDA and adapted units at some resorts. Resort availability list is subject to change.

The Legacy Programme

The Legacy Programme provides Platinum Members the ability to allocate a minimum of 5,000 points to family and friends allowing the recipients to enjoy the benefits and perks of a Platinum membership. Legacy recipients can borrow, save, share and manage their own account without involving the Primary member.

By Request – Complimentary PressReader Annual Membership

Platinum members receive one complimentary annual subscription per year, per Club membership that provides unlimited access to over 5400 electronic global newspapers and magazines, and can be used on up to 3 devices. Members can enjoy the option to download and bookmark their favourite subscriptions.

By Request - Complimentary Priority Pass Membership

Gold and Platinum members receive one complimentary annual membership to Priority Pass per year, per Club membership. This annual airport lounge membership allows Gold and Platinum members access to over 850 business lounges at airports around the world. Many lounges are equipped with conference rooms, Internet and complimentary refreshments.

An entry fee is charged for every lounge visit made by you and any accompanying guest(s). There is one membership card per membership and will be printed in the name of the person who registers the Priority Pass membership. Identification and the Priority Pass membership card is required for entrance.

Reservation Protection on reservations of 5,000 points or less

This complimentary benefit is offered exclusively to Platinum members of THE Club® on Club reservations that are 5,000 points or less. When booking a Club reservation on HGV.com or with a Platinum service agent, your Club reservation is automatically protected so no action is required of you.

This benefit is non-transferable. Reservation protection is applied at the time of booking. Points used for The Sampler℠, THE Club® Select℠, THE Club Combinations℠, Global Club Events, Member Guided Travel, Hosted Trips, all Luxury programmes, and Destination Xchange are ineligible.

Search Requests

We will do the searching for you! Silver, Gold and Platinum members may set up complimentary automated searches either online or with a dedicated Member Services representative for a resort or region, date or date range, number of nights and any accommodation size or type, up to 10 months prior to arrival.

  • Silver members may set up (1) one active search at a time
  • Gold members may set up (3) three active searches at a time
  • Platinum members may set up (5) five active searches at a time

Single Stay Reservation Protection Plan at time of booking

In the event you need to cancel a reservation for any reason you can protect your points at special Loyalty pricing when purchased at the time of booking and receive 100% reimbursement of your points used for a reservation as long as you cancel 31 or more days prior to your arrival date.

  • Standard members pay £126/€147 per reservation
  • Silver members pay £116/€137 per reservation
  • Gold members pay £106/€127 per reservation
  • Platinum members pay £96/€117per reservation

This benefit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Pricing is dependent upon your recognition level. Points used for The Sampler℠, THE Club Select, THE Club Combinations℠, Diamond Dream Holidays, Member Escorted Adventures, Member Guided Travel, all Luxury programmes, Instant Getaways and Global Club Events, bookings and exchanges are not eligible for the Reservation Protection Plan.
