Travel Updates

At Diamond Resorts, the safety and well-being of our Members, Owners, guests and Team Members is of utmost concern. We remain diligent in our commitment to provide a safe, hospitable environment for all who visit our properties.

Before you travel, we encourage you to check country, state/province and local jurisdiction websites for details on any travel advisories and other requirements such as the use of face coverings and vaccination requirements. Certain destinations may require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test for access to local restaurants, tourist spots and on-site amenities, such as gyms, food and beverage areas and other common areas. As this is an evolving situation, we highly recommend you become familiar with all applicable health and government mandates before you travel to understand any requirements or restrictions that may affect your vacation experience. As you assess your current travel plans, please keep in mind the travel notices below, which may impact your stay at a Diamond property or your return home. Please note, the information below is by no means a comprehensive list of all the travel advisories, restrictions and government mandates.

Before traveling, we recommend that you review your itinerary and carry out your own inquiries regarding any travel requirements that may impact your vacation plans.

Travel Within the United States

We encourage you, your families and all guests to follow the CDC’s guidelines.

Before you travel, we encourage you to check country, state/province, and local jurisdiction websites for details on any travel advisories and other requirements such as the use of face coverings and vaccination requirements.

If you are visiting a theme park, restaurant or local attraction, please contact each business in advance to fully understand how they are handling the use of face coverings and vaccination requirements.

Travel Outside the United States

The U.S. Department of State has posted travel advisories due to the global impact of COVID-19. Before you travel, please check for specific travel advisories about your specific destination.

International Travel Back to the United States

As of June 12, those traveling to the United States will no longer need a negative COVID-19 test one day before boarding their flight to the country. Non-U.S. citizens who are not immigrants to the United States are still required to be fully vaccinated and provide proof of their vaccination status to fly to the United States. Exceptions to this vaccination requirement for certain non-U.S. citizens who are not immigrants are limited, including children under the age of 18. All travelers are also required to provide basic contact information to airlines before boarding flights. For more information, visit the CDC website.

North America

Any reservations can be cancelled by Members in accordance with the cancellation policy as outlined in The Club Member Directory. To review this policy, log in to your Member Area and navigate to My Account > Member Resources > Member Information > The Club® Member Directory.

European Collection

Any reservations can be cancelled by Members in accordance with the cancellation policy as outlined in The Club Member Directory and Rules and Regulations of Diamond Resorts European Collection Limited, Diamond Resorts Fractional Owners Club and Balkan Jewel Owners Club. To review this policy, log in to your Member Area and navigate to My Account > Member Resources > Member Information > The Club® Member Directory.

Guests who booked through an online travel agent or other third party, such as Booking.com, should contact their booking provider for information on their policies and for assistance.
