All Members with HGV Max benefits have access to the Open Season Program, which allows Members to make a reservation directly with Hilton Grand Vacations during the Open Season Reservation Window using a credit card (“cash”).
Open Season rental reservations require a 2-Night minimum stay at participating resorts within the Hilton Grand Vacations portfolio of properties (subject to exclusions).
The Open Season Reservation Window starts 30 days before the check-out date through one day before check-in. For more details, please refer to your membership rules guide.
Open Season Credit Benefit
HGV Max Members in the Preferred, Preferred+, Premier, Premier+ and Centum+ tiers receive an Open Season Credit annually, which can be applied toward an Open Season rental reservation at participating resorts.
The Open Season Credit applies to the specific calendar year in which it is granted and can be redeemed for reservations with an arrival date of January 1 through December 31 of the current year. Please read the terms and conditions below for additional benefit details.

- The Preferred tier will receive one $250 Open Season Credit (valued at USD$250).
- The Preferred+ tier will receive one $350 Open Season Credit (valued at USD$350).
- The Premier tier will receive one $500 Open Season Credit (valued at USD$500).
- The Premier+ tier will receive one $700 Open Season Credit (valued at USD$700).
- The Centum+ tier will receive one $1,000 Open Season Credit (valued at USD$1,000).
The Open Season Credit amount and participating resorts are subject to change.
Open Season reservations must be booked directly with Hilton Grand Vacations and Members must choose the Open Season Credit as a form of payment and the amount of the credit they wish to use when booking their reservation. Open Season reservations cannot be booked with HGV Max membership points, Bonus Points or Hilton Honors Points or through an exchange or transient rental booking site, including Hilton.com.
Eligible HGV Max Members named on the HGV Max Member accountmust be staying on the Open Season reservation to be eligible to use the Open Season Credit; the Open Season Credit cannot be used for Guest Certificate stays including Open Season stays at Hilton Club New York.
The Cancellation policy for Open Season reservations applies to the Open Season Credit:
- Cancellation 30–16 days before arrival results in forfeiture of 50% of the Open Season Credit used for the stay.
- Cancellation 15 days or less before arrival results in forfeiture of 100% of the Open Season Credit used for the stay.
The Open Season Credit can only be applied to the nightly Open Season room rate and tax only. The Open Season Credit cannot be used to pay for annual Club Dues, maintenance fees, transaction fees or for reservation folio expenses, nightly room upgrade fees, property fees or gratuities. The Open Season Credit cannot be applied retroactively to past Open Season stays.
Any Open Season Credit awarded in a calendar year but not used shall expire at the end of that year. Once the Open Season Credit is depleted, the Member is responsible for any portion of the payment due.
No cash refund or other credit will be issued to the Member for any portion of an unredeemed or partially used Open Season Credit. The Open Season Credit is non-transferable and nonrefundable and is applied in USD or the equivalent local currency based on the exchange rate at the time of booking.
