Purchasing the Reservation Protection Plan will ensure a 100% reimbursement of the points charged for the original reservation should you need to cancel any time up to 30 days prior to the arrival date. Additional protection can be purchased in several ways:


Reservation Protection Plan: Annual Coverage - Annual coverage for all reservations confirmed starting from the date of purchase, irrespective of the arrival date of the stay - ideal for members who travel multiple times a year.

Reservation Protection Plan: While Booking - Purchased at the time a particular reservation is confirmed, solely for that particular reservation - ideal for members who vacation once a year.

Reservation Protection Plan: After Confirmation - Coverage can be purchased for a particular reservation after confirmation exclusively when the arrival date for the stay previously confirmed is outside of the cancellation point penalty range.

If the need arises that would requires you to cancel a reservation, please contact the Reservations Department as soon as possible in order to avoid fees or loss of points. You will be allowed a one-time reschedule of your stay without having to pay an additional fee or lose points. However, if a reservation is cancelled less than 72 hours prior to the confirmed check-in date, you will forfeit 100% of your points used to make the reservation for that period.

Reading Terms Is Required


Any regular reservation, whether for a full week or partial week:

  • May be canceled prior to 3 days before day of check-in on the first day of the reservation, and all points used to book this reservation will be returned to your account.
  • May not be cancelled within 3 days before day of check-in on the first day of the reservation without penalty.
    • Your account will be penalized the number of points equal to the first night of the reservation and the balance returned to your account when reserving Monarch Grand Vacations Club resorts.
    • When reserving Club Connection destinations cancellation will be subject to a penalty equal to the full amount of the reservation.
  • Cancellations for reservations which include New Year’s Eve at Cancun Resort must be submitted no less than 14 days before the day of arrival to avoid penalty. Reservations cancelled less than 14 days from arrival, no shows, and early check-outs will be subject to a penalty equal to the full amount of the reservation.
