Among the initial feedback received from the ownership base was a desire for a simpler way of searching availability and vacation planning. We have developed online booking solution that we believe satisfies the request, and the first step to utilizing this service is to register for an online account. As part of delivering this service, we have adjusted the following for usage purposes: As you know, your points, or "VOP" represent the symbolic unit of measurement of your rights within the reservation system. We are proportionately increasing both your points and the schedule to align with Diamond Resorts point schedules already in use at DiamondResorts.com. As an owner of Monarch Grand Vacations, the Vacation Ownership Points ("VOP") you are allocated for use each 24 month use term has been increased by a factor of 60 to align with Diamond Resorts Points values. For example: On January 17, 2005, Mary purchased 100 VOP of Monarch Grand Vacations. Her transaction closed escrow in early February, and her anniversary was set as April 1, 2005. She had to make use of these points by March 31, 2007. She was allocated 100 VOP on April 1, 2005 and subsequently on April 1, 2007/2009/2011, with the same two year use term. For usage purposes, moving forward, instead of 100 VOP each use term, Mary will be credited with 6,000 points at the beginning of each use term. On July 12, 2006, John purchased 155 VOP of Monarch Grand Vacations. His transaction closed escrow in late July, and his anniversary was set as September 1, 2006. He had to make use of these points by August 31, 2008. He was allocated 155 VOP on September 1, 2006 and subsequently on September 1, 2008/2010/2012, with the same two year use term. For usage purposes, moving forward, instead of 155 VOP each use term, John will be credited with 9,300 points at the beginning of each use term. Both the "VOP Vacation Schedule" and "VOP" for all Monarch Grand Vacations owners have been adjusted similar to the examples illustrated above. Mary originally purchased 111 points at Palm Canyon Resort for which she now receives 6,660 points each even year for usage purposes. If, for example, she used to vacation at Palm Canyon Resort each even year in a Junior Villa in high season for 111 points, moving forward this vacation would cost 6,660 points. John originally purchased 98 points at Palm Canyon Resort for which he now receives 5,880 points every year for usage purposes. If, for example, he used to vacation at Palm Canyon Resort in a Junior Villa in mid-season for 98 points, moving forward this vacation would cost him 5,880 points. Both the use schedule and points for all Palm Canyon resort owners have been adjusted similar to the examples illustrated above. For usage purposes, moving forward, instead of 144 points each year, John will be credited with 8,640 points at the beginning of each year. If, for example, she used to vacation at Riviera Shores Resort each even year in a one Bedroom - Ocean Villa for 133 points, moving forward this vacation would cost 7,980 points. John Smith originally purchased 144 points at Riviera Shores Resort for which he now receives 8,640 points every year for usage purposes. If, for example, he used to vacation at Riviera Shores Resort in a Two Bedroom for 144 points, moving forward this vacation would cost him 8,640 points.
